How to write Chinese Characters
Instrictions
| Start/Stop Animation | Select Start/Stop Animation to watch a demonstration of how to write a character. |
| Listen | Select Listen to hear the pronunciation for a character. (QuickTime is needed to play the sound files) |
| Direction | Select Direction to identify the direction of an individual stroke. |
| Radicals | Select Radicals to identify the radical of a character. |
| Grid | Click on Cross to see the layout of a character on a grid. |
| Stroke order | Select Stroke Order to test your character writing and knowledge of stroke order. You can select the strokes one by one, in the order that you think is correct. The system will tell you if you make a mistake and you can then try again. If you need more help, go back to Start/Stop Animation and watch the character writing demonstration again. |
