Comments  Alternatively: 拿 些 吃 的 东 西 来 ná xiē chī de dōngxi lái. 些 xiē some is a measure word, not a number. When 些 xiē is used, no additional measure words are needed. 些 xiē is placed after a verb and before a noun, as in 喝 些 酒 hē xiē jiǔ drink some wine. 吃 的 chī de means things to eat. The noun 东 西 dōngxi things, which is not expressed, is understood by the listener. See also the comment in question 2.
