3rd Years and 4th Years A debate, on GM food, is scheduled on Thursday 3-4pm, Week 3, in Room 207. All the 3rd year and 4th year students are required to attend as a part of the language course. The W3 listening assignment for the 3rd year students is to write a report stating the opinions of the two debating sides. The W3 oral presentation for the 4th year students will be partially based on the debate (e.g. discussing the topic and commenting on evidence and logic). All the debaters of the 3rd and 4th year are exempt from their listening and speaking tasks of the week, receiving a high grade if needed and I suppose if no objection is raised.
