Comments  Alternatively: 可 不 是 吗! 我 昨 天 晚 上 得 作 练 习, 所 以 我 一 晚 没 睡 觉 kě bú shì ma! wǒ zuótiān wǎnshang děi zuò liànxí, suǒyǐ yì wǎn méi shuì jiào. 可 不 是 吗 kě bú shì ma means yes indeed or you can say that again. (See lesson 15) This expression is used to agree with other people's statements. 弄 得 nòng de is followed by the result of an event. For instance, 他 说 得 太 多 了, 弄 得 我 更 糊 涂 了 tā shuō de tài duō le, nòng de wǒ gèng hútu le he has said too much, so I have become even more confused.
