Comments  Alternatively: 我 昨 天 晚 上 和 小 王  去 看 了 一 个 中 国 电 影, 说 的 是 抓 小 偷 wǒ zuótiān wǎnshang hé Xiǎo Wáng qù kàn le yí ge Zhōngguó diànyǐng, shuō de shì zhuā xiǎotōu. The expressions 讲的是 jiǎng de shì, 说的是 shuō de shì and 写的是 xiě de shì are used to describe the content of a play, article, novel or film.
