However, 你 有 空 吗 nĭ yŏu kòng ma and 你 有 事 吗 nĭ yŏu shì ma have different implications: 你 有 空 吗 nĭ yŏu kòng ma are you free? implies would you like to do something with me? while 你 有 事 吗 nĭ yŏu shì ma lit. do you have matters to deal with; can also imply may I help you?.
