Comments  Alternatively: 昨 天 晚 上 我 作 的 那 顿 中 国 饭 很 好 吃 zuótiān wăngshang wŏ zuò de nà dùn Zhōngguó fàn hěn hăo chī. As indicated in the above answer, the aspect marker 了 le is placed after the main verb 作 zuò, before 一 顿 中 国 饭 yí dùn Zhōngguó fàn . This sentence pattern is commonly used for describing completed actions, as in 买 了 三 本 书 măi le sān běn shū bought 3 books and 吃 了 两 顿 饭 chī le liăng dùn fàn ate two meals.
