Comments  Alternatively: 喝 一 杯 就 行 了 hē yì bēi jiù xíng le or 我 只 喝 一 杯 wǒ zhǐ hē yì bēi. 就 jiù is placed before verbs or stative verbs for emphasis. It means only or just, as in 我 就 买 这 些 wǒ jiù mǎi zhè xiē or 我 买 这 些 就 够 了 wǒ mǎi zhè xiē jiù gòu le I will just buy these. The speaker wants neither more nor less than the amount he or she has got.
